The second LO board contains XTAL oscillator (10.034 MHz) and buffer amplifier.
The oscillator is made on the low noise JFET. I had to use a very old crystal (manufactured in the 1960 year :), since is has a very large crystal and easy opening carbolite case, because I was unable to find the crystal with the necessary frequency, so I polished 10MHz crystal until its frequency raised to 10.034 MHz.
The emitter follower at the output provides the necessary matching with the coax line.
